I had not asked my prescribing Doctor, and I was afraid of taking two, but the one pill does not help me, so I registered unto this site, which is very useful and important to get my answers, because I find this site to be very reliable and dependable. Does Tramadol come in larger doses other than 50mg, I would prefer taking a higher dosage rather than taking so many pills. Yes, you can.. I got prescribed Tramadol HCL 50MG and a single pill wasn't doing the trick..So I called to complain and the doctor said I can take 2.. in fact for my refill he prescribed me 30 so I can take two each time.. Not sure y he didn't just up the dose. .. Dear sc300soarer: My family doctor has me on Tramadol as well 50 mg I'm to take 2 tablets 3 x a day. I don't have any problem with them. I also take Flexeril a muscle relaxants.I noticed this thread was dated May 2012... have you talked to your doctor about this? What did they say?Good luck.-Abby asked your Dr i take 300 mg a day without a probem BUT ALSO CHECK WITH YOUR DR OR YOUR RHP No rather increasing the dose u should ve a combination therapy. u can take piroxicam(brexin) along with tramadol. it lll be much effective. discuss this with ur doctor alsoregards. Did you try taking Aleve or ibuprofen in between doses of tramadol? Can you use ice packs to numb the area??? Don't double up on meds... you are going to have problems
