HomeQ & AQuestionsIf I take 150mg of tramadol... Question posted by Hagy on 3 June 2017 Last updated on 3 June 2017 I have taken up 100 mg 3 or 4 times, and 50mg once. I weigh 130lbs. I'm having severe back pains and my doctor prescribed me 100mg a day, but it doesn't work anymore. Thanks. If it is not working anymore, you should see your prescribing doctor. Sometime it takes a little trial and error to get it right. One should NEVER self medicate. There are other meds out there that may help you more. Give them a chance. Taking such a big dose could be problematic, not to mention explaining to doc why you run out early. Let DR be the one to assign dosage.
